Wong Kar-wai’s 1994 CHUNGKING EXPRESS is the Criterion Channel film of the week. I haven’t watched it for a while, so this week will be an excellent time to immerse myself in that stylish world again. 🎥
Watching Elaine May’s brilliant MIKEY AND NICKY again as I take advantage of my Criterion Channel charter membership. 🍿
Watching Agnès Varda’s lovely 1963 short SALUT LES CUBAINS again. A brilliant use of stills and music to create something more than the sun of the parts. 🎥
Watching the 1918 film THE DREAM LADY directed by Elsie Jane Wilson. 🍿
